Dr. Ronald R. Desmarais graduated from Life-West Chiropractic College in Hayward, California in the fall of 1989. Prior to studying at Life-West, he attended the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Ron continued his post doctorate work in Neurology under the teaching of Dr. Carrick. He became board certified in neurology in 1994. He has been in private practice for over twenty years.
Dr. Ron is proficient in the Activator Technique, Gonstead and several other techniques as well. Dr. Ron has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. He currently serves on the advisory board of "One Hit Away", a non-profit that provides education and advocacy for brain healing and brain health from injuries related to concussions.
In his free time, Dr. Ron enjoys playing ice hockey, watching his son Luke (age 19) play hockey, and spending time with his daughter Sophia (age 21) and her horse Lady and fixing things around the house for Dr. Charisse.
